Its Labour day today :)
So we all get a break! Hurrah !
Hmm, i have another lesson to go till
my driving test. Im pretty uncertain about me passing tho.
Everyone keeps saying you'll HAVE to bribe the examiner.
I don't understand.
People are so corrupted man.
All they have to do is say Tak Lulus and they get rm200
even if you actually did pass by the book.
It really pisses me off.
Also i noticed, that despite all the talk and issues being brought up
on pollution and the environment, people still couldn't really give a shit.
Or maybe people are so wrapped up in work and etc.
They just forget and aren't bothered.
Even now when we know that the consequences of our actions are.
We still continue to be stubborn and ignorant.
I mean, come on we always complain how hot it is when the
aircond isnt turned on. And when we use all this energy to
make our buildings colder and make it burning hot outside what is the use!
Sometimes people say that they use their AC's on full blast to keep their rooms
cool, I just feel... sigh sad.
We're so spoiled by technology.
If we can reduce our carbon footprint and use of greenhouse gasses.
Maybe it wouldnt be so Dang hot and we wouldnt really need to
use AC's anymore ???!
It doesnt take much to do your part for the environment.
We just have to be more careful and conservative.
And, about the food we eat nowadays.
Since ive been cooking, ive also been having frequent visits to
supermarkets, and i noticed.
Everyone at cashiers always have some sort
of junk food , maggi mee and etc they have.
You really don't know how bad these things are for you.
These things are all manufactured and simply not healthy.
The colouring, the flavouring and for maggi mee, all that silicon your consuming.
I think , we all should be really careful about what we eat now,
especially when the manufacturers couldnt care less as long as
they sell the product.
The early mans diet was sustained by fruit and nuts.
We should be eating fresh foods.
Organic.
No pesticides used.
You know how people always look for the 'nice looking'
foods. Like spinach for example.
A shopper sees that there are holes in the leaves and
will think. This is not nice. Insects have fed on it.
So they veggies dont sell.
So what do the farmers do?
They have to sell the veggies don't they?
So they use lots of pesticide to kill off the insects.
When the veggies get to the marts.
Shoppers think, wow this looks fresh.
And they take it home and consume the pesticides.
So be wise!
The other day i saw a new family, both parents working.
They bought four big packages of disposable diapers, canned foods,
and preserved foods too. Ex: maggi mee
Everything they purchased was environmentally unfriendly.
Disposable and Unhealthy.
People use disposable diapers because its convinient.
You just change and throw away change and throw away.
Do you know how long it takes for those diapers to degrade?
450 years.
Plus.
It is estimated that roughly 5 million tons of untreated waste and a total of 2 billion tons of urine, feces, plastic and paper are added to landfills annually. It takes around 80,000 pounds of plastic and over 200,000 trees a year to manufacture the disposable diapers for American babies alone.
So use cloth diapers.
It may not be as convenient but you should take care more about the environment and your child anyways :/
And POLYSTYRENE is worse.
read on the environmental impact.
All this might not be new to you,but there are many people who are unaware.
And we should inform them.
Btw ive cut my hair :P
Much lighter and better since its so hot now T.T
Before
After
